Message from the Education Committee

Labour education is the cornerstone of participation and activism in any union. At the TWU, we realize that front-line support is the key to our grassroots strength and we are committed to the continuing education of our Members. Each year the TWU facilitates many of our own "in house" courses as well as sponsoring other labour education initiatives.

If you are interested in attending one of our classes please review the course calendar of events for your province as well as the "course descriptions" page. You can sign up online (English or Francais) or contact your Local Secretary Treasurer to register. (Please note that some of the more popular courses have waiting lists so you may have to wait for the next available time frame.) If you're not sure who your Local Secretary is please call head office at 604-437-8601 for that information.

The TWU Education Committee is headed by Vice President John Carpenter. The Committee welcomes your input so if you have any suggestions or questions please feel free to contact us.
